My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were nice and cosy, furnished with unique restored furniture, albeit on the smaller side. The view of the garden and church was very pretty. The service was professional and helpful, with the staff going above and beyond to assist. The location, while slightly off-center, was still within walking distance of the main historical sites in Ouro Preto. The dining experience, though not exceptional, offered a variety of Brazilian dishes cooked on a wood-fired stove. Overall, a charming and beautifully furnished 19th-century building in a prime location.
